Global Revival Services

Our Mission

We created Global Revival Services (GRS) as an organization to help those in need through various creative and beneficial ways. Through this website and our organization, we want to expand on our current as well as previous projects and activities. Our projects are both local and international, and we strive to connect with other organizations around the world. Through our work, we have heard some heartwarming stories and met several humble people. We hope that by showcasing our work, we can inspire others to join us in making our society better.

Our Projects

Here are some of our recent projects.

Our Current Project: Fundraiser

We are currently fundraising for a another project to continue helping those with special needs. As youth directors of the Junior Committee at Kids Like Us Community Learning Center, we have taken initiative of fundraising for the Kids Like Us Early Learning Center. The program works one-on-one with all children to benefit them to their full potential. Please click donate for more information about this fundraiser.

Caring for Those with Special Needs

In December 2019, we donated 200,000 BDT (about 2,300 USD) to Munni Saha, the host of a show on one of Bangladesh’s television channels,. Through her show, she brings awareness to health and autism in the country. In addition we are also connected to Kids Like Us and LiiNA. Kids Like Us is a non-profit organization tailored for the special needs community. Not only are we on the advisory board of Line, but we are also the first directors of the KLU Youth Committee.

Helping the Homeless

In many operating rooms, unused sterile surgical towels are thrown away. We collect and donate these unused towels to homeless centers such as the Downtown Day Center, The River, and Family Promise. These towels, which would otherwise been thrown away, have been put to good use by the homeless shelters. We also help the homeless people by periodically donating food and other necessities. Our family even hosted a Thanksgiving lunch at the Downtown Day Center.

Masks Up

As the coronavirus reached its first peak around April, online school left us with more free time to do what we love to do. While in quarantine, we decided to put our knowledge of sewing to good use during these difficult times by becoming volunteers for ETSU Health clinics from home. Both of us learned how to sew and knit when we were young, and we knew that this was the right time to use what we know to help. All in all, we finished with around one hundred masks that we were able to donate to ETSU Health.
